I don’t think I took measurements back then, but whatever. I didn’t even realize over this past year I gained 9 pounds and I’m a hell of a lot stronger than I was back then. But regardless of what numbers I put up, how much I weigh, how I look in the mirror, I’m happy with my progress.. and I’m far from finished.

My previous split jerk (From the rack) PR was 225#, and my C&J was 230.5#.
Before these, I did heavy snatch deadlifts, a shit ton of snatches, and a few warmup sets of C&J (A total of ~1.5 hours). Here’s a video of the heaviest snatch I did that night at 155# (Current PR is 166#):

Ever since I heard the sound of thunder when my coach’s volt romaleos hit the wood floor, I’ve been exaggerating the hell out of it, trying to make it sound as loud as possible. ..it actually kinda helped in a way haha.
