My previous split jerk (From the rack) PR was 225#, and my C&J was 230.5#.
Before these, I did heavy snatch deadlifts, a shit ton of snatches, and a few warmup sets of C&J (A total of ~1.5 hours). Here’s a video of the heaviest snatch I did that night at 155# (Current PR is 166#):

Ever since I heard the sound of thunder when my coach’s volt romaleos hit the wood floor, I’ve been exaggerating the hell out of it, trying to make it sound as loud as possible. ..it actually kinda helped in a way haha.
I know this is all super detailed and whatever, but can you blame my happiness? THREE FUCKING PRs IN ONE NIGHT. SHIRTLESS. COMPLIMENTED THAT I GOT BIGGER.
A bit of background before we dive into the video..:
Me and my friend Eddie (Box Intern) decided to do today’s WOD after the 6pm class was done since we had limited rings.. hence no one else doing it.
The first set of weights and times is his, and the second is mine. You’ll see what I mean when you read the WOD:

Given I have a LONG ways to go in a sense of competing, but I can’t believe I was able to do those, get 4 MU’s unbroken in every round despite I did chest this morning and heavy snatches before this WOD, and finished at a sub 19 pace.
I’d like to do this again.. Same everything. I know I can definitely get sub 15 on this fucker.
Mind you all the original programming at the box was front squats, but I felt a little.. risque this morning.
Definitely was WAY too excited this morning as I tried to set some new PRs for the olympic lifts.. yeah, no. I didn’t even get to my current PRs (160.5 and 230.5 respectively), but it’s all good.. I didn’t let it get to me. :D
The risqueness carried on as I did #85 DB snatches.. FELT SO GOOD DOING THEM :D:D:D And the HSPU’s are actually starting to get easier, so I’m happy about that. AND I got the kipping down so for the most part they were all unbroken! Ahhh, the progress is showing; my push movements are finally getting stronger!

Hmm, not much to really say about this.. other than the fact that my shoulder is acting up a LITTLE BIT. I’ll bring it up Tuesday when I get my hip fixed by my friend that hooked me up with that amazing massage. :D
Allllllllllllllrighty then, so the back squats. My hip’s still kinda fucked up so I couldn’t go as heavy as I want. Besides, I failed at 295 which is my current PR for HIGH BAR.
Slow as shit Angie, BUT FUCK IT I’M GAINING BITCHES so my times will be slow. It’ll totally be worth it in the end. On the flip side, I PR’D unbroken pullups at 32! Tore my finger up but it’s all good.
My friend is hooking me up with a legit massage tomorrow morning. Literally, she has the table with the hole to put your head through and everything. It’s long overdue and going to be SOOOOOOOOO FUCKING EPIC. She said she can fix up my hip too, so definitely looking forward to it. :D
